Connecting Children with Nature
MCDM 2019 Organizing Committee is aware of the carbon footprint caused by the participants for their flights to and from Istanbul (approx. 580 tonne CO2 equivalent).
To even partially compensate for our effect, we made donations in the names of participants to TEMA Foundation – The Turkish Foundation for Combating Soil Erosion, for Reforestation and the Protection of Natural Habitats (www.tema.org.tr).
